Amp Locker 98 is a professional guitar amplifier simulation plugin for Windows 95 and 98 and Mac OS 9, developed by Audio Assault.

It models 6 of the most widely used guitar amplifiers in recording and live performance, using advanced digital signal processing algorithms designed to run efficiently on Pentium-class hardware.

This actually runs on modern day Windows, OSX & Linux!

Each amp has been modeled by EAR from MEMORY, using techniques necessary to get low CPU usage faithful to the era, while this plugin may be a joke, it can be useful to get demo ideas down quickly without even touching your cpu usage.

★ Uses so little CPU that you can set your interface to it's minimum latency! ★

There is NO Convolution/IRs here either, just a cool little algorithm that approximates guitar cabs, including mic movement!

I have also added some annoying things that were common back then such as a non resizable plug-in window, no built in preset handler ...etc

In fact...this plug-in even intentionally ignores retina/high DPI screens, oh the nostalgia!
